We sometimes take customer calls where they're facing an Error Code 2800 on their Generac generator, not realizing they have accidentally hit the auxiliary shut down on the back of the generator.
To remedy this follow these steps:
Turn auxiliary shutdown switch OFF
Turn generator OFF by pressing RED button on control panel
Turn auxiliary shutdown switch to ON
Press ENTER on control panel to clear code
Press green AUTO button on control panel to return to automatic
Check side of machine to confirm GREEN indicator light is ON
